Benedicte grows-up in Belgium in an artistic context.

She studies theatre in the ‘avant-garde’ Dartington College of Arts in England.

She experiments new ways of devising theatre through choreographies, sites specifics, visual art installations, performance writing, and dance. She meets, choreographs, directors, visuals artists from abroad.

She feels connected to the work of: Robert Wilson , DV8, Susan Rethorst , Simone Forti, Mathilde Monier, Anna Rodriguez, Ariane Mnouchkine , Jacques Lecoq, Robert Lepage, James Thierree, The Moving Theatre company, Kate Bush, Laurie Anderson, Camille, Nosfell…

In France she creates her own performances based on mixed arts, bodies and objects.

She performs and collaborates in France, Belgium, England, Israel, New-York, Montréal…

She practises yoga, Feldenkrais , contemporary dance, hip-hop and some regular physical theatre workshops.

She sings, plays piano and does body percussion.

In parallel she was trained as an artistic stage pedagogue and has started a new work based on the idea of stage body language for musicians.
